Sounds from the Triangle – a mixtape featuring jazz, funk, soul, disco, rare groove and reggae beats. I’ll admit, my taste in music has always been a bit obscure — from forming a minor obsession with 1960’s Yugoslavian hard bop jazz as a teenager, to a never-ending compulsion for digging rare funk and soul gems whenever I spot a garage sale record stack, I just love music with a good beat and a good groove.
I’ve amassed a ton of great tracks throughout the years but I’ve never really shared or done anything with them for fear they’re obscure. Any maybe they are, but to me, it’s great music and it’s time for great music to be shared.
